הקובץ gitignore מסמן ל Git לא לעקוב (track) אחר קבצים מסויימים בפרוייקט. אם מדברים על וורדפרס, הנה קובץ gitignore מומלץ שניתן לשנות בהתאם לצורך הפרוייקט שלכם:
